Why use handmade soap?

Fragrant handcrafted soaps are a pleasure to use. When you awake in the morning, or turn in at night, there are few things more soothing than a bath or shower with our fragrant handmade soap. You will never get tired of using our soap because we have a great variety of scents available in our store. Celebrate the seasons and times of your life with our wonderful scented soaps. Our handmade soaps add scent to any room. Many of our customers tell us that just entering into the bathroom is wonderful because of the scent that emanates from the bar of soap in the soap dish next to the sink.

Great Eye Appeal. When you purchase for yourself, it's a wonderful self-affirming gift. The scents and colors of our handmade soaps are truly a wonderful and heart warming gift idea to the recipient of your gift.

Soft, smooth skin from using our luxury soap. Our soapmaker, Lynnel, is a retired nurse who brings to soapmaking her experience from her years of working and parenting. We and our families use the soap from the very same batches we sell to you. If it's not good enough for our own family, it's definitely not good enough to sell to you, so we make sure that the quality exceeds our expectations. You'll find a phenomenal bar of soap that will leave your skin feeling soft and silky, conditioned and smooth.

Our handmade soap can be used on hair, face and body, cutting down the need to purchase multiple products. The ingredients in our soap are good and basic. You won't find strange sounding chemicals, just good, honest soap.

Our handcrafted bar soap is alcohol free, unlike some of those liquid soaps on the market. Did you know that liquid soapmaking entails the use of alcohol? Even more alcohol is used to clarify the liquid to a clear state. We're not interested in putting alcohol in our products. Alcohol dries the skin. Our soap is alcohol free, designed to be long lasting and deeply conditioning.

We are conservation minded. We keep the usage of paper for labels to a minimum. Paper comes from trees and every day, trees are chopped down for wood pulp that is used to produce paper. We love trees and prefer to see more of them standing. We celebrate nature in this, and in our usage of natural essential oils, drawing more from the earth than taking away from it.

Lotion is usually not needed after using our soap. Glycerin is a byproduct of saponification and as we have already shared, it's stripped from the commercially manufactured soap. We won't do that. We don't have the machinery to do that and do not care to remove the glycerin from the soap. We cold process our soap and carefully insulate it to maximize the glycerin production. We don't rush a good thing. Customers tell us they don't need lotion. We do not believe you will need lotion after using our soap.
